Pharmacies should be a place where people can keep track of their health status, maintain a healthy body condition through nutritional therapy, and get accurate and immediate help when they are sick based on daily collected data.

As people’s lifestyles change, the pharmacy is evolving into a comfortable destination that encourages socialization and health information exchange, encouraging people to develop a routine of visiting the pharmacy to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The space serves as a consultation space for medical therapy, nutrition, Chinese herbal therapy, and the purchase of produce and products, as well as socialization for information sharing and relaxation.

I combine my knowledge of pharmacy with my Chinese culture, while keeping the locality and cultural differences in mind. The Chinese herbal therapy consult room is designed to offer an alternative therapy while also promoting Chinese medical culture. Tea, as a great source for promoting health, is full of flavonoids and other healthy goodies in various types of tea, which aids in the treatment of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, weight loss, cholesterol reduction, and mental alertness. Tea is introduced in this space through the use of tea products, a tea bar, and a tea room. Tea or the effective elements extracted from tea are also introduced as a suggestion that promotes wellbeing in nutritional therapy and medical consultation.

Customers have a responsive and customized employee who keeps track of their health status, guides them through the space, and provides personalized instructions and services. As customers consume, employees assist them in preparing the products they desire, which not only provides good service but also improves the cleanliness of the space and thus ensures a safer experience.
