Sirui Liu got her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design with honors from Parsons School of Design and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration degree from Columbia University. She is now educated in the PhD program at the University of Hong Kong. Being a mature interior designer who is trying to shape a healthier lifestyle for the ones who seek healing effects in busy lives and an art administrator with a focus on visual arts at the same time, her cultural sensitivity and desire to promote artistic inclusion have inspired her to pursue interdisciplinary experiments spanning start-up business in the hospitality industry, advertising, event planning, design management for a real estate company, product marketing, interior design and architecture, gallery curation, and exhibition design. She is passionate about integrating the power of art and design to make a more significant impact on society. Now she has shifted her focus to research work around positive humanities and well-being science, aiming to explore factors, including arts intervention, that promote students or the public’s flourishing.
